Cilene has a passion for volleyball that shows in her great resume as an Olympic and Professional athlete and also in her coaching life where she keeps receiving outstanding feedback from parents and athletes. She was coached by 4 coaches who participated in the Beijing Olympic Games. Jose Roberto Guimaraes (Head Coach Brazil Women's Volleyball team- 2 Olympic Gold medals), Bernardo Resende (Head Coach Brazil Men's Volleyball team- 1 Olympic Gold medal, 2 Olympic Silver medals and 2 Olympic Bronze medals ), Marco Bonitta (Head Coach Poland Women's Volleyball team), Giovanni Caprara (Head Coach Russia Women's Volleyball team). She played in two Olympic Games and professionally for 16 years. Most recently, as a coach, Cilene has participated in the training of the USA Youth National team in 2009 and the Brazilian Youth and Juniors National teams in 2008. Cilene has been invited to coach in clinics around the USA, and has provided consulting for clubs in Texas and Florida. Cilene developed our Instinct System. This system draws from all the experiences she acquired as a World Class Volleyball player and her network with the best players and coaches in the world. Cilene oversees the training of all our teams and actively participates in the training sessions along with our head and assistant coaches. She has great professional relationships with the top college programs in the US including Penn State, Nebraska, Hawaii, UCLA and many others as well as great connections with the top leaders in the USVA and the Brazilian Volleyball Federation. In 2010-2011, Cilene and her team, Instinct 17 Tigers National, became the National Champions in the Girls Junior National Championships held in Atlanta. This was Instinct's first National Championship in only its 3rd year of existence and first year fielding a team at this age group. Cilene is a well known clinician around the country and has presented for 150+ coaches in several occasions.

Eduardo played college and professional basketball. His involvement with volleyball started many years ago with beach and indoor volleyball tournaments in the US. Eduardo later participated as a volunteer in the training sessions for the Brazilian Women's volleyball team while Cilene was a member of the team. He specifically helped and coached in the middle blockers' training. He has coached youth basketball and volleyball and has run many volleyball camps and clinics. Eduardo has a bachelors degree in Physical Education and Sports Management and a MBA in International Business, Marketing and Finance. Eduardo has vast knowledge in the field of Sports Performance Training and developed many programs for youth sports in Brazil. He oversees our Volleyball Specific Physical Training. At Instinct, Eduardo's teams have qualified for Nationals and finished in the top 10 in the NTR rankings every season. Last season his 16 White Tigers National qualified to play in the OPEN Division at the Girls Junior National Championships in Atlanta by finishing 4th in the Lone Star National Qualifier. He also coached the 14 Leopards National a team that improved tremendously through the season and climbed up the NTR rankings. In 2009-2010, Eduardo's 15 Tigers E qualified in the OPEN division by finishing 3rd place in the Lone Star Qualifier and finished ranked 4th in the North Texas Region. In 2008-2009, his team, 14 Tigers, secured a spot to Nationals by winning the North Texas Regional Championship.

Eve Rodgers,RD, CSSD, LD, is Instinct VBC's exclusive Sports Nutritionist. A frequently requested speaker, Eve is a Registered Dietitian (RD), Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD), past certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM-CPT), and nutrition counselor. Some of the organizations and teams she currently consults for are: Major League Soccer’s FC Dallas, Michael Johnson Performance, Instinct Volleyball Club, Leukemia Society’s Team in Training Programs in DFW, and YMCA Downtown Dallas.

Scott Spring is currently the head varsity volleyball coach at Brewer High School in Fort Worth. He has been coaching club volleyball for 6 years with previous experiences at ACE and Victory. Scott grew up playing volleyball and then was blessed with an opportunity to play college volleyball at DBU. He has a well rounded sports knowledge from his experience with playing football, basketball, track and tennis, at the high school level; and volleyball and track at the college level. Scott has also coached football, track and soccer and he uses his knowledge of all sports to help connect concepts and skills to volleyball. Scott has coached all age groups but feels he is strongest at the younger ages. " Fundamentals are so important at these ages and that is my major focus when coaching. I am excited to join such an experienced club. I hope to bring my talents as well as increase my education of the game here with Instinct."

Blanca has played volleyball since she was in 7th grade, and as soon as she set foot on the court, she fell in love with the sport. In high school some awards she received were: most athletic, best defensive player of the year, and first team all district. After High school, Blanca wanted to stay close to home and played volleyball at Eastfield College. While at Eastfield, she was team captain and played as an outside hitter. Now, Blanca is a senior at the University of North Texas with a major in kinesiology and minor in health promotions. While at North Texas she worked with many elementary and middle school children, helped them learn more about the sport. Also, she has assisted in several camps for middle school and high school.
Blanca plans to teach physical education and coach HS volleyball.

Flavio has been coaching volleyball for over a decade. He trained and developed winning teams in several age groups including 11s, 12s, 14s, 16s. He also coached an adult female winning team in a semi professional state tournament. Flavio was in charge of the entire volleyball program in his hometown in the south of Brazil. He also played in amateur leagues for over sixteen years. Having added a tremendous background in study and research in the development of volleyball athletes and students made Flavio believe that anyone who wants to learn or play could improve and develop the skills necessary to compete at the highest levels. He also believes hard work, discipline and planning are the fundamental keys to have success inside or outside of the court.

This is Sofia Martin's first season with Instinct. She played volleyball during junior high and high school for a private school, and also for a volleyball club in Brazil. She developed refined skills and volleyball knowledge being trained by the best coaches South of Brazil. She also played in the junior regional championships representing her state twice. Sofia played professionally during a season right after high school. Sofia is graduated in Architecture and has a Master degree in Civil Engineering. During the college years, she played several tournaments for her school in Brazil. Here in the USA she has played in adult leagues in Texas since 2002. She has been working with Youth girls volleyball teams, privately and at club level – Velocity, PSA.

Coach Thomas Bledsoe has been coaching for 12 years. He has experience coaching in several age groups both indoor and beach volleyball at different clubs including TAV, Victory, and 900; in addition, Men’s volleyball assistant coach at Dallas Baptist University 2004. This is Thomas 2nd season with Instinct. He was previously the Coach Director at ACE and 2 teams qualified for Nationals. In addition, he has coached college summer camps which include the University of Texas- Austin and Texas Christian University. Thomas has also coached in programs to help under privileged children. As a player he played club collegiate volleyball Division 1 in Canada and finished his collegiate career at Dallas Baptist University winning NCCAA championship and SIVA championship; being awarded 1 st team All American and 1 st team All-Conference SIVA. Thomas played juniors volleyball while in high school and received an invitation to join the US Youth National team. Thomas also played beach in the EVP and AVP tour and coached USA Juniors High Performance beach volleyball. Thomas is also NCAA Coach Recruiting Certified.

This is Elise's second season with Instinct. During the 2010-2011 season she was the assistant coach for the 12 Lynxes and 13 Cougars National teams. Before joining Instinct, Elise was the 16's coach at Bell County Juniors for one year. She attended Temple College where she played as a middle blocker and right side hitter for two years and is currently working on her Kinesiology degree at The University of North Texas. Elise is also the 8th grade girls volleyball coach and varsity assistant coach at Greenhill School in Addison. "Some men give up their designs when they have almost reached the goal; while others, on the contrary, obtain a victory by exerting, at the last moment, more vigorous efforts than before."

Wes has been an important contributor to Instinct. His positive attitude and love for volleyball are evident and both facilitate his connection with young athletes. Athletes enjoy playing for Wes and it is evident in their performance and interactions in the court. He has been one of Instinct's top coaches and receives several requests for private and group lessons. Wes graduated from the University of Oklahoma where he was the president of the University of Oklahoma's Volleyball Players Club. He has played volleyball for 10 years and has coached for 6 years. Last season Wes coached the 14 Leopards Elite. He also was the assistant coach for our 16 White Tigers National that finished 3rd in the Lone Star Qualifier and qualified to participate in the 2011 Girls Junior National Championships in the OPEN division. Wes was the Head Coach for the Instinct 14 White Tigers in 2008-2009 and the Head Coach for the Instinct 15 Tigers W in 2009-2010 season. His team developed tremendously from one season to another and finished ranked in the top 20th in the NTR. Wes also helps Eduardo with our Volleyball Specific Physical Training and is responsible for our Instinct's Flight School, agility and jump training. He is Impact and CAP certified.

Jordan's coaching philosophy is focused on life lessons and accountability while offering fundamental training for growth. Jordan played club volleyball while attending Baylor University as a starting outside hitter. With the highest averages he played full rotations and helped the team take 5th place in NIRSA National Championship. He helped create and played for the Baylor beach volleyball team going to nationals and taking 2nd two years straight. Jordan also is a director for beach legend Sinjin Smith and central US collegiate beach volleyball. He has trained with professionals and played in AVP events both in California and Texas. He was assistant coach for Instinct Leopards 14 nationals in 2011 and the Greenhill Varsity boy ’ s assistant coach. He believes the definition of a true team is: players doing their part individually so they can function collectively. The only real loss is when a player stops learning.

Bethany started playing volleyball in the 7th grade, and soon realized she had a great passion for the sport. She played competitively through high school as the starting setter for the varsity team, and on various club teams. Bethany was offered an athletic scholarship to play volleyball at Grace College in Indiana, but ultimately decided to stay close to home, and attended Texas Tech University where she graduated with a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. Since college she continues to play competitively in various indoor & outdoor leagues and tournaments. In the past 4 years, Bethany has experience coaching at the club level, and multiple All American volleyball clinics, facilitating various age groups, with a specialized focus on setting. She has a competitive spirit, and deep love for the game, and strives to instill a sense of confidence and self-discipline in each of her players. Philosophy – “When a gifted team dedicates itself to unselfish trust & combines instinct with boldness & effort, it is ready to climb”.

Paula had a great career as a setter. She played for the Brazilian Junior Volleyball team. Paula was a starter setter during all of her college years. She graduated from Texas A&M Corpus Christy with a Degree in Communications. She has six years of coaching experience. Last season, Paula was the head coach for our 13 Cougars National that finished ranked in the top 10 in the NTR rankings and won the D2 for the Tour of Texas. In 2009-2011, Paula was the head coach for our Instinct 12 Lynxes National which finished ranked 9th in the North Texas Region. Paula worked closely with all her athletes and helped them develop individually and as a team. She assisted Eduardo with the Instinct 15 Tigers E and helped the team get a bid to the Junior Olympics in Reno. In the 2008-2009 Paula was the assistant coach for the Instinct Tigers 14s that qualified for Nationals by winning the North Texas Regional tournament. She gets numerous requests for private lessons and is well known for her work with setters. Paula has recently participated as the Head Setter trainer in many college camps in the Texas and Louisiana.

Billy Bob has a long history with volleyball both as a player and as a coach. Prior to joining Instinct, Billy Bob had coached club volleyball at the all age groups and for the past 2 years at Skyline coaching 15 Molten and 16 Molten. As a player Billy Bob played volleyball for 30 years at the amateur level. This experience included several beach, grass and court volleyball tournaments in Texas. He also played AA in the old USVBA for 10 years. “Attitude will take you far and beyond your expectations in volleyball and in life."

David Harris has coached club for about 12 years and has been to Nationals twice.He has been and Assistant and Head Coach of teams aging from 16 to 18 yrs. old, and his teams have finished in the top 10 of the region in all but one year. David has had teams finish 4th at the Qualifying Regionals, 2nd at Lone Star, 3rd at Lone Star, Champions at Big South and several other top 10 finishes at National Qualifiers.
He started playing late and taught himself with some assistance from ex-collegiate and other Open level players. As a player, David has won several “A” Level sand leagues and a couple of grass tournaments. He prides myself on his setting, but he is very capable in all areas of the game.
Philosophy: Give 100% effort 100% of the time and you will never lose. "I am here to improve, win and/or do our best with knowing that at the end of the day volleyball is just a game."

Lauryn started playing volleyball in middle school and fell in love with the sport. She has 5 years of club volleyball experience and was a starter on her high school volleyball team for 3 years. After high school Lauryn had offers to play college in Arkansas and others but decided to stay close to home. She has played Middle Blocker, Setter, and Right Side. She was an all around player and has experience in each position. She is a Junior in college and is currently attending University of North Texas. Lauryn was the starting setter for UNT's top club travel team that competed against other universities. She started her coaching career at Instinct coaching the 14s in 2009. Last season Lauryn assisted Cilene with the 17s Tigers who won the 17s National Championship in the American Division. COACH | Tatiane Deibert
Tatiane joined our team to coach and also serve as Instinct's Recruiting Coordinator. Tatiane has been around volleyball for many years. She grew up in Brazil, one of the strongest volleyball schools in the world, watching the best players and coaches in the world in action. As a player she played 12 years in Brazil before coming to play college in the USA where she received Academic All-American, All-Region, All- SAC, and Conference MVP awards. Tatiane scored 800+ kills in a single season and is in her school's record book for kills per game, ace per game, digs per game and serve receive percentage. Tatiane also played professionally overseas for a season and her team finished in the top 5 teams in the league. As a coach, Tatiane is currently the varsity volleyball coach at Greenhill High School in Addison. Before accepting this position, Tatiane was an assistant coach at the college level. She helped John University achieve a 10-0 record while winning the Conference Championship. Tatiane was also an assistant coach at Arkansas Tech University for 2 years and coached 2 Freshman of the Year and 9 All-Conference players. As an assistant coach at the college level, Tatiane was fully involved in the recruiting process and was responsible for bringing talent into the programs she was involved with. Tatiane will help and educate our athletes and families in the details and important points of the college recruiting process. She has coached club for 9 years and her philosophy is, "The harder you work, the harder it is to surrender."

Jamie enters her 8th year as a club coach, her 1st year with Instinct VBC. After graduating college and moving back to the DFW, she has coached the Freshmen team at Harwood Junior High, the Mid-Cities Panthers club team, and is currently the Varsity Coach at Colleyville Heritage High School. Jamie graduated from Trinity High School in 2001, where she played Varsity there for 3 years under Susan Kaufman. While at THS she compiled many school records as she led her teams into the playoffs. She chose to go to Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, to continue her volleyball career. While at Austin Peay State University, she was a four-year starter. She ended up 2nd in All-Time Assists, 2001-2005, and received Most Improved Award her freshmen year there. In 2002, her women's team competed in Adult nationals, they finished 2nd in Women's A Division. She qualified a team to the Nationals 2 years in a row. Jamie also played on the 900 sponsored women's team at Adult Regionals in 2009, the team placed 2nd and played on the 900 Coed Team that placed 3rd at Adult Nationals in 2009 and 2010.
