Beach Volleyball is a growing sport. In 2009, the NCAA approved the sport to become a scholarship sport, so the interest is even higher now. Instinct VBC and Sport Support have been offering beach training for 2 years already. In 2008 , Instinct VBC and Sport Support signed an exclusive partnership with a world renown beach volleyball program. Escola de Voleibol do Betinho, based in Rio de Janeiro, trains athletes from all over the world year around. The founder and owner, Roberto Bosh, former indoor and beach professional volleyball player, and his beach volleyball physical trainer, came to Dallas and offered 2 1-week clinics in 2008. Our head trainer, Cilene Drewnick and the staff from Escola de Voleibol do Betinho have been in constant contact since last summer. Cilene just came back from Brazil where she took Penn State, 2007 and 2008 NCAA volleyball champions, to a volleyball trip. She spent several days in the beach volleyball facility in Ipanema, training and learning new drills. The relationship between Instinct VBC and Escola de Voleibol do Betinho continues to get stronger and both organizations continue to exchange training knowledge related to beach volleyball. Come train like the PROs do.
